Today's Female Batterers ¦ One Example

Nineteen year old Chris Brown has joined the ranks of female batterers.

He published a statement a few weeks ago on TMZ.com saying that he had withdrawn from the Kids Choice Awards on Nickelodeon because ".... the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated ....".

Excuse me? A controversy he said? He beat up his live-in girlfriend and now the suits are calling it an "incident" like he bumped into somebody and didn't apologize. Worse yet, the media are calling it a controversy as well because ...

What is even more horrific is the news that Chris and Rihanna have made up which in my book means they're both on a straight road to nowhere! Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks that something is wrong with that picture.

This young fool supposedly said that he's going to get help; like maybe going to his pastor or his agent or his mother for them to tell him that everything would be alright and that he's not really a bad person!

They both need psychological help, and Rihanna needs to understand why she ended up with that young thug. And mark my words, the beatings are set to continue because nothing has been resolved.

I am pleased though that she has not withdrawn the charges, yet. What made these two get together? When you discount their musical talent, it comes down to the dysfunctional environments they both grew up in and the negative messages that they absorbed as children.

The thing is when messages like that are wired into your brain as a child you are programmed for life. Unfortunately, the majority of us live abnormal lives and accept dysfunction as normal.

It is not normal to hit a woman yet we hear idiots, both men and women, saying nonsense like "what did she do to provoke him", "she had to have done something". That is absolutely ridiculous. A man does not hit a woman, ever!

It's a shame some men don't act like men, isn't it?
